Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health MinuteClinic in Denville, NJ — full-time clinical role delivering primary and family medicine with autonomy and collaborative support. Responsibilities include evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning; immunizations and injections; care coordination with other providers; patient education and wellness screening; and administrative duties (opening/closing the clinic, inventory, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection). Requires an active Family Nurse Practitioner license, DOT certification within 30 days, BLS, at least two years of clinically relevant experience, and strong communication skills; EPIC experience and family medicine background are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients
- Order and administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide vaccine counseling/education
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
- Proficiency in additional languages (not limited to Spanish) depending on market
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, CPR/AED
- Pass a FIT test and wear respirator mask when required
- Education: Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- EPIC experience preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner is preferred
- Experience in family medicine or primary care practice preferred
- DOT certification and licensure requirements as applicable
- Pass a pharmacy/clinical credentialing process (as applicable)
- Able to perform immunizations and vaccine administration
