Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner delivering evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Provides both in-person visits from the clinic and virtual visits to support positive patient health outcomes; participates in preventive services, care coordination, and follow-up within a clinic-based setting. Responsibilities include essential clinic operations such as inventory management, opening/closing, patient follow-up, and insurance verification. Requires current NP licensure, board certification (AANP/ANCC), DOT exam within 30 days, BLS, and the ability to work at the clinic location with the flexibility to support weekend shifts; role emphasizes delivering care at the top of one’s license with a collaborative clinical team and access to EPIC EHR and supportive resources.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current national board certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Active, unrestricted state APRN license
- DOT certification exam completed within 30 days of employment
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
- Physical presence at assigned clinic required
- Ability to order/administer vaccines and injections (COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, Depo-Provera, etc.)
- Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs
- Obtaining and maintaining multi-state licensure as needed
