Job Summary
Manage cardiac intensive care unit patients through evening care, performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and providing education and consultation. Interpret diagnostic data and coordinate care for a team committed to growth and career development within the cardiovascular division. This role supports new grads with prior critical care or cardiovascular experience in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current ACNP certification
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
- Comfortable being involved in evening care management of patients
- Performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Prescription of medications
- Education
- Consultation
- Research
- Night, Swing and Weekend Shifts
