Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for various ambulatory care complaints and episodic illnesses. This position requires a NJ licensed NP with 5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities include responding to on-site emergencies, managing chronic illnesses, conducting health education, and ensuring regulatory compliance with local and state health regulations. Opportunities to engage in special projects, such as webinars and health fairs, are available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current State of NJ license as an Adult or Family Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive privileges
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in primary care, urgent care, emergency care, or critical care
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with EMRs preferred
- Prior experience working with federal and state regulatory authorities such as OSHA, PEOSH, etc. preferred
- ABOHN Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S)- preferred
- Certification in Case Management by ABOHN or CCMC-preferred
- DOT Drug Screen Collector Certification- preferred
- Breath Alcohol Technician Certification- preferred
- NIOSH-Approved (#043) Spirometry Training Certification Course- preferred
- Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC)- certification- preferred
- First Aid Certification-preferred
