Job Summary
Deliver patient-centered clinical care through assessments, treatment planning, follow-up care, and patient education while building and growing referral relationships with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and home health agencies. Educate referral sources on services and eligibility, collaborate closely with clinical leadership and business development teams, and identify new opportunities to expand referral networks and increase patient access. Represent LUX Infusion at community events and healthcare meetings, analyze referral trends to support strategic growth initiatives, and maintain accurate clinical documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Contribute to quality improvement efforts that enhance patient care and operational excellence. This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state
- National Nurse Practitioner certification
- Current BLS certification
- DEA registration (where applicable)
- Two to five years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Proficiency with EMR platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to provider offices and healthcare facilities
- Participate annually in required legal and ethical compliance training
- Consistently act in compliance with LUX Infusion's legal, ethical, and compliance policies
- Adhere to all standards and procedures outlined in the LUX Infusion Compliance Manual
- Refrain from any behavior that could be considered unethical or unlawful
- Support the organization's mission, vision, and values by demonstrating integrity, dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm
- Prioritize competing demands, manage multiple tasks effectively, and seek guidance when appropriate
- Ability to assist directly - or coordinate appropriate assistance - to ensure access to LUX Infusion's services for individuals with disabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, home infusion, or outpatient care settings
- Healthcare business development, physician liaison, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales experience
- Established relationships within local healthcare communities
- Experience evaluating referral data and supporting market growth strategies
