Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner provides clinical care to patients in a primary care, interdisciplinary setting, incorporating psychosocial considerations and collaboration across a healthcare team. Responsibilities include using diagnostic testing appropriately, delivering appropriate treatment, maintaining comprehensive documentation, engaging patients in care, seeking physician consultation when appropriate, and contributing to quality improvement efforts. Requires Maryland licensure and clinical certification (DEA, Maryland CDS, X license), at least 2 years of primary care experience, and the ability to work across diverse populations; travel among Chase Brexton Health Services clinics is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of clinical experience in primary care
- Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of primary care experience
- Appropriate Maryland licensure and clinical certification, DEA and Maryland CDS, X license
- interest in and/or experience in community health settings
- Experience working in a diverse environment
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals
- Excellent communication and team skills required.
- Must meet FTCA requirements
