Job Summary
Provide patient examinations, assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and treatments for selected illnesses under established protocols. Deliver health promotion information and teaching, while making referrals to other health professionals and agencies as indicated. Assist in the further education of health professionals rotating through the Center and participate in periodic revisions of health maintenance, illness, and counseling protocols with other providers. Engage in COMC activities and attend required meetings, while pursuing continued education for professional development and licensure retention. Travel to all COMC locations may be required; valid Missouri driver's license and motor vehicle availability are necessary. Knowledge of HIPAA and 340B regulations is mandatory, with strict confidentiality of patient information enforced.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Missouri
- Currently registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of a Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Availability of a motor vehicle
- Knowledge of, and compliance with, HIPAA and 340B regulations
- Confidentiality of patient information
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies
- Ability to effectively present information to top management
- Ability to work with accounting concepts
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Performs all duties and assignments whether or not supervision is present
- Expresses ideas, information, and instruction in a positive and effective manner
- Works cooperatively with coworkers and supervisor
- Acts as a good role model for other employees
- Readily and effectively adjusts to changing ideas and activities
- Reliably reports for work as scheduled
- Willing to work OT when needed
- Follows all safety rules and works in a safe manner
- Produces an acceptable amount of work, of sufficient quality in an appropriate amount of time
- Moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 35 pounds of weight
- Travel to all COMC locations may be required
