Job Summary
Follow up on new patient admissions adhering to established treatment plans, recertify patient stays, round on current patients, and update treatment plans as needed. Communicate with medical staff and on-site physicians to ensure consistent quality care, update patient charts, and prescribe medications. Maintain board certification, an active Delaware nursing license, and a DEA license with three years of bedside post-acute care experience. This 1099 contractor role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements, compensating $150,000 to $200,000+ annually based on RVUs. Medical Professional Liability coverage is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner diploma from an accredited Nurse Practitioner curriculum
- Board Certification in good standing
- Active and unencumbered License to practice Nursing in Delaware
- Active and unencumbered DEA license
- 3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
