Job Summary
Provide psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents in a Centerstone Health Services setting. Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management, collaborating with treatment team members for medical supervision and using advanced knowledge of psychopathology and psychopharmacology to aid diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment interventions. Maintain effective, collaborative relationships with psychiatrists and clinical support/nursing to support patients during and between appointments. Follow best practice prescribing protocols as identified in research and organizational processes, and communicate effectively across written, verbal, and virtual channels.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Specialist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
- Must be licensed
- Must have or be able to quickly obtain prescriptive authority
- One to three years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing environment or mental health care environment is preferred
