Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary medical services for ambulatory patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescription writing, referrals, and follow-up in collaboration with staff physicians. Maintain productivity of roughly 20 patients daily while participating in staff meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement activities. Assist in educational training of students and complete continuing medical education and life support training as required. Sustain current immunization and PPD status and notify leadership promptly of any licensure or disciplinary issues.
Required Qualifications
- RN with a Master's or Nursing Doctorate (ND), certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC); or a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health, or Medical Sciences accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, or an equivalent certifying body; or certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Current state licensure to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee
