Nurse Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity

Nurse Practitioner for Cardiothoracic Surgery seeking a multi-disciplinary inpatient APP to first assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations and manage the CVICU and step-down unit. Part of a three-surgeon, eight-APP team dedicated to adult cardiac and thoracic procedures, including open heart surgeries, robotic lobectomies, TAVRs, and MitraClips, with emphasis on Minimally Invasive Valve Surgery, Robotic Thoracic surgery, and Hybrid Maze for Atrial Fibrillation. Responsibilities include collaboration with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, participation in a robust quality/outcomes improvement program, and involvement in clinical research and program development. Schedule may start with five 8-hour shifts for ~3 months, then move to four 10-hour shifts per week (generally 6am-4pm).
