Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner sought to join a Cardiothoracic Surgery program anchored by a three-surgeon practice and eight APPs. Responsibilities include first assist in cardiac and thoracic operations, management of the CVICU and step-down unit, and collaboration with cardiothoracic surgeons to support adult cardiac surgery and related procedures (e.g., minimally invasive valve surgery, robotic thoracic surgery, TAVR/MitraClips). Requirements include an Idaho NP license, CS registration, Board of Pharmacy and DEA, vein harvest experience, and prior NP experience in cardiac disease management. Schedule involves a surgical orientation followed by four 10-hour shifts per week (6am-4pm) after initial orientation. Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Vein harvest experience
- Previous Nurse Practitioner experience in cardiac disease management
