Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (Cardiothoracic Surgery) to join a multi-disciplinary cardiothoracic program in Boise, Idaho. The APP will be the first assist in cardiac and thoracic operations, manage the CVICU and a step-down unit, and participate in a high-volume program including open heart surgeries, robotic lobectomies, TAVRs, and MitraClips, with opportunities in ECMO/Impella management and clinical research. Schedule involves five 8-hour shifts for ~3 months, then four 10-hour shifts/week (generally 6am-4pm). Recruitment package includes a $20,000 sign-on plus relocation, PTO, CME, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho
- valid controlled substance registration with Idaho
- Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Vein harvest experience required
- Previous Nurse Practitioner experience in cardiac disease management
