Job Summary
Cardiothoracic surgery APP sought to assist in cardiac and thoracic operations, manage the CVICU and a step-down unit, and collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Responsibilities include first assisting in cardiac/thoracic procedures, caring for patients in the CVICU, managing the thoracic/cardiac floor, and participating in a high-volume program performing open heart surgeries, robotic lobectomies, TAVRs, and MitraClips. Requires Idaho NP license, CS registration, Pharmacy Board and DEA, vein harvest experience, and a strong desire to develop a multi-specialty practice within the health system; includes a recruitment package with sign-on bonus and relocation.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho
- valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Vein harvest experience
- Previous Nurse Practitioner experience in cardiac disease management
