Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Develop treatment plans and educate patients on managing their cardiovascular health. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists to deliver care. Requires an MSN, RN license, and cardiology NP certification with at least two years of experience. Full-time outpatient cardiology practice near the Connecticut coastline.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization in nurse practitioner (NP)
- Registered nurse (RN) license
- Cardiology NP certification
- At least 2 years of experience working in a cardiology setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
