Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Provide primary health care to a specific patient population within written protocols, engaging in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, defects, or injuries while recommending or prescribing treatments. Perform all charting, summaries, correspondence, and paperwork required for documenting care and billing. Participate in physician educational programs, responding to requests for proposals for managed care contracts, and establish quality assurance, utilization management, and management information systems. Develop patient education services, satisfaction surveys, and assist in operational and capital budgets to enhance revenue and reduce expenses. Maintain courteous relationships with management, physicians, patients, and the public.
