Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology collaborating with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service. Autonomy in patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care; manage inpatient cardiology patients, outpatient cardiology clinics, cardiac labs, and outreach cardiology clinics. Orders testing as needed and remains proficient in interpreting results and prescribing appropriate medication within NP scope. Eligible for PA licensure; requires NP certification and ongoing CME support; 10-hour day shifts are optional. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Certification(s) and License(s): Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
- Must be eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA
