Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology with Geisinger Heart Institute in Santa Clara, CA. Responsible for collaborating with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service; autonomous patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care; manage inpatient cardiology patients, outpatient clinics, cardiac labs, and outreach clinics; order tests as needed and interpret results; provide medication management within NP scope. Requires completion from an approved NP program or eligibility for national certification, and PA licensure eligibility. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
- Must be eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA
