Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) position focusing on providing high-quality hospice care, including managing terminal illnesses, conducting patient evaluations, and developing individualized care plans. Candidates must have a master's degree, current nursing licensure, and experience in hospice or palliative care. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosing, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Must have current nursing licensure in State
- Must have a master's degree with a minimum of one (1) year Nurse Practitioner experience and a minimum of one (1) year hospice or palliative care experience
- Must have accreditation from an approved certifying body for advanced practice nursing as required by the State
- Must be a licensed driver with licensed automobile that is insured in accordance with organization/state requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in a specialist area preferred; e.g. Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN), Pediatrics or Geriatrics
