Nurse Practitioner Breast Surgery Long Island

Plan and organize breast surgery patient care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop therapeutic plans. Perform complete health histories, physical examinations, and psychosocial assessments; order laboratory and diagnostic studies per protocols; and prescribe medications and medical devices according to New York State law. Formulate care plans with attending physicians and family members to maximize quality, access, and cost-effective outcomes. Monitor treatment effectiveness, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and serve as a clinical resource for peer education. Maintain current expertise and promote professional growth within the multidisciplinary health team.
