Nurse Practitioner at Foster Medical

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner on Banner Health's Trauma team at the Level 1 Trauma Center in Tucson, AZ. Combined clinic and inpatient role with trauma activations, comprehensive evaluation and management of trauma patients, ordering tests, consulting specialists, admissions coordination, and procedural tasks (chest tubes, central lines, laceration repairs, I&Ds, occasional intubations), discharge planning, and first assist. Full-time schedule with four ten-hour shifts per week (days and mid-shifts; night coverage possible in the future). Requires Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and AZ license or eligibility. Required certifications include RNFA, BLS, ATLS, and ACLS; preferred PALS, ABLS, and NRP.
