Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up visits, including pre-operative evaluations, post-operative care, and longitudinal care coordination. Perform clinical assessments, medication reviews, and treatment plan development in collaboration with neurosurgeons. Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures, and recovery expectations while coordinating referrals for imaging, physical therapy, and subspecialty consultations. Accurately document clinical encounters and participate in clinic huddles and continuous learning initiatives. This clinic-based role supports timely evaluations and smooth patient experiences across the surgical journey within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with national certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State by employment start date
- Certification by NCCPA (for PA) or AANP/ANCC (for NP)
- DEA registration, NPI, and prescriptive authority
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
