Job Summary
Takes patient history, records information in charts, and provides diagnosis and treatment services to established patients. Confers with physicians about new findings, formulates care plans, and prescribes medications and immunotherapy per state guidelines and protocols. Performs patient education by showing videos, distributing brochures, and directing patients to online resources. Triages incoming calls, instructs patients on treatment instructions, and transmits prescription requests to the pharmacy while documenting all actions. Oversees appointment bookings to ensure timely patient flow and acts as backup for rooming patients. Completes assigned AP training and complies with Allergy Partners policies, reporting incidents via the EthicsPoint hotline. Requires an NP degree, current licensure to treat all ages, and at least two years of experience in a physician office or hospital.

- Experience diagnosing and treating patients
- Working knowledge of managed care basics
- Experience working with a managed care and Medicare population
- Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
- Good communication skills
- Neat, professional appearance
