Job Summary
The nurse practitioner will provide high-quality medical diagnostic services and treatment to patients, conducts patient examinations and evaluations, and consults with supervising physicians. Responsibilities include performing routine physical exams, patient counseling, ordering lab tests, and providing preventative care. The role involves participating in quality assurance programs, maintaining patient records in the EHR system, and ensuring compliance with agency protocols. Candidates must possess a graduate degree in nursing, a valid Nurse Practitioner license in California, and current Basic Life Support documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in California
- Current documentation of Basic Life Support
- DEA License Required
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English
Desired Qualifications
- Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) strongly preferred
- Fluency in other languages are an asset
