Job Summary
Assess patient health through interviews, examinations, and medical history updates. Collaborate with physicians to formulate treatment plans and determine abnormal conditions by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests like x-rays and lab studies. Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens, promote wellness, and document all care services in department records. Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care while maintaining infection control policies and complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Provide high-quality holistic healthcare across multiple settings including 50-bed respite centers, family medical centers, mobile units, and street outreach sites.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona
- Certified by the state as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of three years' experience in either Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Must be at least 21 years of age
