Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical care for children and adolescents with behavioral health, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, including admission reviews, annual physicals, and same-day sick client visits. Evaluate and prescribe pharmacotherapy, order diagnostic studies, and coordinate referrals with external specialists while maintaining periodic medication reviews. Collaborate with a supervising psychiatrist and multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centered treatment plans and counsel families on physical and psychosocial health needs. Spend 80% of work hours delivering direct billable services within a small caseload of approximately 18 clients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- Minimum two years experience in the field
- Valid Minnesota nursing license as issued by the Boards of Nursing and Medicine
- Advanced Practice Nursing (APRN) license to practice autonomously
- Professional Certification in both Pediatric or Family AND Psychiatric by examination
- Valid driver's license
