Job Summary
Perform complete health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments while ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies. Formulate medical diagnoses, institute therapy or referrals, and interpret patient data to determine status and management. Institute emergency measures and stabilization for cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions. Provide health care promotion guidance to patients and families. Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction. Maintain professional appearance and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Able to multi-task and work independently
Desired Qualifications
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
