Nurse Practioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive health histories, review patient records, and develop medical assessments while ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies. Formulate diagnoses, institute therapy or referrals, and stabilize patients during emergencies such as cardiac arrest, shock, or allergic reactions. Interpret patient data to determine status and management, then provide guidance on health care promotion to patients and families. Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction within a primary and urgent care setting. Requires ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification and active licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Able to multi-task and work independently
Desired Qualifications
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
