Nurse Practioner

Nurse Practitioner position in a Family Medicine practice within a state institution in the Syracuse area (Camillus, NY). Role focuses on holistic patient care, obtaining complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests per practice protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other advanced practice providers to manage an independent panel of patients, with longer 20/40 minute patient appointments and a patient-centered treatment approach. Utilize Epic EMR in a state-of-the-art facility with integrated services (radiology, laboratory, cardiac, sports, PT, OB, urology), and participate in clinical teaching opportunities while delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment. Flexible schedule with regular hours and occasional Saturday mornings. Must maintain NYS NP licensure, NPI/Medicare enrollment (or eligibility within 6 months), and current CPR certification; preferred 3-5 years of primary care outpatient NP experience.
