Job Summary
Administer medications and ensure proper medication control and documentation in an outpatient treatment program. Verify physician orders, educate clients about medications (use, purpose, side effects), assist with admissions, and document substance use diagnoses as required. Must hold MA LPN or RN license with CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days). Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting; experience in substance use/mental health or acute care inpatient healthcare is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts LPN or RN license
- current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
- independent judgment in emergencies
- experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
