Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for outpatient treatment programs in Milford, MA, part-time (32 hours/week) with schedule including mornings and rotating Saturdays; administer medications per policy, control and document onsite medications, educate clients on medication administration and side effects, verify physician orders and transcribe them, assist with admissions and document substance use diagnoses, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a regulated setting. The role requires MA licensure, CPR competency within 90 days, independent judgment in emergencies, and effective written and oral communication; prior substance use/mental health or acute inpatient healthcare experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
