Job Summary
Nurse Paralegal position in Wilson Elser's Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD offices. Full-time role within the litigation team. Key duties include analyzing and summarizing medical records, creating medical chronologies and narrative summaries, producing billing record summaries in Excel, organizing materials for expert witness review, and conducting investigative research on expert witnesses. Requires Licensed RN with Bachelor Degree; Nurse Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant experience is a plus, with paralegal training available if needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn proprietary software/databases. Strong written communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Salary range: $65,000–$90,000 plus benefits; competitive compensation based on experience and licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN and Bachelor Degree Required
- Nurse Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant experience a plus, but paralegal training will be provided if needed
