Job Summary
Lead daily nursing operations by prioritizing patient assignments, sequencing care activities, and removing barriers to maintain safe, timely, and high-quality care delivery. Review patient assessments, plans of care, medications, and treatments to ensure appropriate intervention and timely escalation of changing conditions. Facilitate coordination with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and other care partners to align care plans and patient education needs. Troubleshoot recurring care delivery, documentation, and workflow issues by evaluating clinical patterns and implementing approved changes. Mentor junior nursing staff and guide cross-training to strengthen coverage and readiness during peaks or absences. Ensure complete, accurate, and audit-ready clinical documentation that supports continuity of care and regulatory readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, pharmacy, healthcare, business administration, supply chain management, operations management, program management, computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in nursing, clinical patient care, acute care, inpatient or ambulatory care, care coordination, pediatric nursing, or a related field
- Licensure as a registered nurse or professional nurse
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, or equivalent
