Job Summary
Educate referring physicians and staff about the START Phase 1 program and clinical trials, then perform referral intake for new patients to ensure coordinated care. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for improved patient matching and care coordination while supporting patients by scheduling Phase 1 appointments and addressing barriers to care. Present new and ongoing trials via virtual and in-person platforms, coordinate case conferences and tumor boards, and maintain accurate documentation for patient tracking. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in West Valley City, UT, with travel required for presentations or site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state
- Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience
- Travel may be required to referral offices or for presentations
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- Clinical trials experience
