Nurse Navigator RN

Coordinate the complete perioperative care pathway for bariatric and minimally invasive surgery patients, from initial evaluation through postoperative follow-up. Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical assistants while serving as a resource for patients, providers, and staff to triage concerns and manage urgent clinical issues. Collaborate with surgeons, advanced practice providers, dietitians, and behavioral health teams to ensure seamless care, assist with referrals and insurance authorizations, and monitor patient progress via portal communications. Support quality improvement initiatives and MBSAQIP accreditation standards, acting as a backup to the Clinical Manager for daily operations and workflow management.
