Nurse Navigator - Mammography

Coordinate patient care following abnormal mammography findings by discussing biopsy results, scheduling follow-up appointments, and instructing patients on necessary additional imaging. Perform assessments for breast problems, assist with biopsy procedures, and provide post-procedure care under the direction of the Director. Facilitate the consent process, answer clinical and emotional questions, and ensure immediate response to physician and patient calls. Maintain MQSA and ACR accreditation compliance by entering audit data and participating in quality improvement projects. Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and community outreach teams to optimize patient care and develop educational materials.
