Job Summary
Conduct admission assessments, assess individuals, and document current health status and medical history for youth with complex medical needs. Administer medications, assist with initial and ongoing treatment plans, and oversee assigned case loads while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, external agencies, and guardians. Communicate medical care and behavior information effectively to ensure coordinated support for clients with sensory, intellectual, and physical impairments. Work within a 24-hour nursing care environment serving students with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must be a current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
