Job Summary
Provide day-to-day management of surgical services, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality perioperative care. Lead initiatives focused on patient safety, staff engagement, and process improvement. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize performance and efficiency. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation requirements, and evidence-based surgical practices. Collaborate with medical and administrative leaders to support program growth and strategic planning. Participate in capital equipment planning and departmental budgeting. Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or Compact State
- Minimum 3 years of recent leadership experience in an operating room or surgical services setting
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- CNOR or CNML certification
- Experience managing large surgical teams within an acute care hospital
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality metrics
