Job Summary
Nurse Manager leading daily nursing unit operations within an Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital, ensuring safe staffing, effective patient flow, and bedside care standards. Provides visible leadership on units, mentors RN supervisors and nursing staff, conducts routine rounds, coordinates staffing based on census and acuity, oversees adherence to nursing processes, and supports unit readiness. Responsible for coaching, onboarding, competency validation, and performance management; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to remove barriers and ensure falls prevention, infection prevention, medication safety, and patient safety. Requires RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; experience in inpatient rehabilitation and frontline leadership is desired. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred
