Job Summary
Nurse Manager oversees the Ocean Shores Medical Clinic nursing operations, supervising approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA) including MA supervisors; implements nursing policies with Medical Director and Health Center Administrator; conducts monthly audits and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations; focuses clinic efforts on quality measures (HEDIS, Meaningful Use); provides annual MA trainings (infection control, sterilization); leads hiring for MAs and other support staff; manages nurse-only patient visits and promotes strong written/verbal communication and team-building; requires active RN or BSN license in WA, HIV education, and BLS CPR within 90 days of hire; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required; salary 85,000 USD annually.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited college or university withan active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
- Must undergo state mandated HIV education.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hiredate and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), listening, andteam building abilities a must.
