Job Summary
Nurse Manager coordinates nursing roles to ensure quality, patient-centered care following clinical guidelines for preventive care and chronic disease management. Serves as a leader of the local operations team, supervising clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, MAs) and coordinating with the Clinic Manager and Medical Director to meet clinical quality measures and provider productivity. Responsibilities include staff training, competency assessment, adherence to infection control and regulatory requirements, implementing evidence-based practices, evaluating clinic operations, and ensuring efficient patient flow. Requires WA RN licensure; LPN considered with relevant experience; ambulatory care and supervisory experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired. The role includes overseeing clinical quality measures, staff performance, training, and ensuring documentation and policies align with organizational standards; travel is not indicated, and on-site clinic management is emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN license in the state of Washington.
- LPNs will be considered if they possess equivalent experience to satisfactorily meet the qualifications.
- Ambulatory care and supervisory experience highly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired.
- Must undergo state mandated HIV education.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
