Job Summary
Direct the activities of Cardiovascular Laboratory Services by administering, planning, and evaluating employee performance to ensure quality patient care. Develop goals, policies, and procedures while participating in performance improvement activities. Operate cardiovascular laboratory equipment including pressure injectors and hemodynamic monitors, and interpret EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings. Requires a current BSN, five years of Coronary Care or Cardiovascular Lab experience, and valid ACLS and BLS certifications. Full-time day shift position at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary
- Five (5) years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings
- Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all new hires after 1/11/2021
