Job Summary
Clinical Manager - AIC oversees supervision of staff in Ambulatory Infusion Centers to ensure infusion services are appropriate, safe, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards. Responsibilities include coordination and supervision of direct patient care, financial/operational oversight within the assigned territory, conducting annual performance appraisals, documenting HR matters for direct reports, collaborating with the Nurse educator on staff orientation and ongoing education, and maintaining effective communication about policies and information with staff. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with possible Saturdays; service areas include Hickory, Asheville, and Mooresville, NC. Requires RN/APRN licensure, leadership experience, infusion background, and strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Active Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of two years of management experience
- Previous infusion experience
- BLS or obtain upon hire
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team
- Experience in coordination and supervision of direct patient care; knowledge of nursing standards and regulatory requirements
