Job Summary
Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) for Aberdeen Medical Clinic who oversees clinical and administrative supervision of nursing personnel, including managing approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA) and MA supervisors; implement nursing policies with Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to meet Sea Mar standards and regulations; perform monthly audits and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations; focus efforts on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use; provide annual MA trainings (infection control, sterilization); lead hiring for MAs and participate in hiring other support staff; oversee nurse-only patient visits; requires an active RN or BSN license in WA (LPNs considered with equivalent experience); complete state HIV education; obtain and maintain BLS CPR within 90 days; strong communication and team-building skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
- LPNs will be considered if they possess equivalent experience to satisfactorily meet the qualifications.
- Must complete state mandated HIV education.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
