Nurse Manager (RN)

Direct assigned nursing personnel and serve as a resource to ensure the plan of care for the patient population. Provide and oversee patient care while implementing hospital philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate on continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, and evaluate performance of professional and non-licensed nursing personnel. Promote clinical development and competency in staff to maximize patient outcomes, ensuring all staff are accountable for documenting care, patient family teaching, and discharge planning. Provide leadership during crises to assure continuity of care and a productive work environment. Contribute to the smooth functioning of the unit by providing direction to staff, other departments, and families as needed.
