Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing, assuming administrative decision-making responsibilities in their absence. Manage nursing staffing and assignments while overseeing performance evaluations and clinical/administrative decisions related to nursing care. Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and maintain quality nursing care on the unit. ACLS certification is required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU roles. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience and supervisory experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
- Supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
- A higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Having 2 years of experience in direct patient care
