Nurse Manager - Registered Nurse (RN)

Assign staff according to policies to ensure equal distribution of duties and complete rounds to assess residents and care needs. Report concerns to appropriate staff and Directors of Nursing, then receive reports from charge nurses to complete shift documentation. Manage and discipline staff as necessary while empowering them with responsibility, accountability, and autonomy to enhance resident care. Direct and manage direct patient care using sound nursing judgment, from physical to emotional assessments, and implement resident/family teaching plans. Develop measurable staff goals, review care plans with charge nurses, and maintain clinical competence by demonstrating awareness of safety and emergency procedures. Complete monthly QAPI and monitor pharmacy recommendations.
