Job Summary
Lead a specific unit as a registered professional nurse, providing leadership and management to promote clinical and business outcomes while serving as the chief retention and safety officer. Engage staff in shared governance decision-making, manage financial resources, and deploy human and material assets to reduce waste and improve performance. Establish partnerships with physicians and departments to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and implement change management strategies that support service excellence. Promote evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement while holding the team to high professional standards and ethical compliance. Develop operational budgets, manage talent, and support the recruitment and onboarding of new staff to achieve expected business and clinical goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Nursing
- Masters Nursing Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management
