Job Summary
Lead a specific unit as a registered professional nurse, providing leadership and management to promote clinical and business outcomes through effective resource deployment. Serve as the chief retention and safety officer, utilizing data and technology to mitigate risks, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment with physicians, staff, and patients. Engage staff in shared governance decision-making, manage financial and human resources, and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient care and operational performance. Develop operational budgets, support professional growth, and represent the organization positively within the community while ensuring compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Nursing
- Masters Nursing Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management
