Job Summary
Lead a specific unit or service by providing leadership and management through the effective use of knowledge and skills to promote clinical and business outcomes. Engage staff in decision-making via shared governance processes, analyze and manage financial resources to reduce waste, and proactively mitigate risks while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld. Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by establishing partnerships with physicians, departments, and medical staff, and model professional practice to recruit, retain, and develop talented leaders. Develop operational budgets, implement evidence-based practices, and represent the organization positively to the community as a chief retention and safety officer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Nursing
- Masters Nursing Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management required
